Portfolio SPLASHPAGE Animation




TASK:
Create an 800x450 pixel flash animation
to welcome viewers to your portfolio.

EXPORT the animation as an Animated GIF, store it on your Google Drive, and INSERT it onto your portfolio front page from that shared drive.

PART ONE - TWEENING MOTION

  1. Create three text objects in three different layers in flash
    (Use the Principles of Typography for best results!)
  2. Convert all objects into SYMBOLS
  3. Create flanking keyframes using [F6]
  4. Right Mouseclick to add a CLASSIC TWEEN between the keyframes
  5. Move the starting locations of each element to have them glide in from "offstage"

[F8] Converts an object into a SYMBOL
[F7] Creates a new EMPTY KEYFRAME
[F6] Creates a CLONED KEYFRAME that copies the content from the previous keyframe
[F5] Extends the duration of the current keyframe

[SHIFT] [F5] Reduces the duration of the current keyframe
[SHIFT] [F6] Erases a keyframe without reducing the duration of the movie

PART TWO - TWEENING OPACITY and SIZE

  1. Add a LINE element, and have it fade in by tweening it's ALPHA colour properties
  2. Add a CIRCLE element, and have it Zoom in by tweening it's SIZE
  3. Add a PHOTO and have it fade in and out before the title appears

PART THREE - EASING MOTION

  1. Adjust the EASING of your text elements
  2. EMBED the SWF of your animation into your portfolio webpages

PART FOUR - ADDING ACTIONSCRIPT

  1. Add a STOP at the end of your animation
  2. Add a BUTTON and attach a ON.. PLAY action to it to restart your animation
  3. UPLOAD and EMBED the SWF on your Portfolio Homepage
